NEC Australia today announced that it has signed a multi-million dollar three-year network services contract extension with Toyota Australia, to support the information technology operations and providing the platform to enable connectivity to its cloud solution for Toyota Dealerships across Australia. As part of the contract, NEC provides data carriage, customer premises equipment, service monitoring and support to more than 180 Toyota dealers across the country. The service is supported by NEC Australia’s Nextep network, providing the vehicle maker’s with a reliable private cloud solution.
